At least fifteen people were killed and over 80 injured in explosions of bombs one of which was mounted on a motorcycle near a Hindu temple in central Bangkok.
Another unexploded bomb was discovered about 30 meters from the site of the first explosion, near the entrance visited the shopping center "Plaza Quezon."
Police confirmed that the explosion occurred on one of the main intersections in Bangkok, near the temple Eravan. Most of the victims were Chinese tourists, communicated from the police hospital where victims were transferred.
"All I can say at this point is
that there was an explosion in central Bangkok associated with motorcycle bomb," told Reuters Aek Angsananon, a senior police official.
